Paul Volcker speech: Three Years Later: Unfinished business In Financial Reform

Former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker spoke to the Group of 30 on Sept, 23, 2011, and spelled out the next steps to improving financial reform. His speech touched on improving auditor independence, making derivatives trading more transparent, and fighting against lower bank capital standards.

"As it stands, the reform effort is incomplete. It needs fresh impetus. I challenge governments and central banks to take up the unfinished agenda," Volcker said.
