Celebrating 10 Years of Dodd-Frank

Better Markets and GW Law co-hosted a virtual conference that discussed the impact of the Dodd-Frank Act and what has happened in the 10 years since President Obama signed it.

More than 1,600 individuals registered to watch “Ten Years After Dodd-Frank.” The conference was held on Tuesday, July 21, on the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Dodd-Frank Act,  the most sweeping financial reform law since the Great Depression.

The program included welcoming remarks by President Obama; a panel discussion with  former Sen. Chris Dodd and former Rep. Barney Frank  moderated by Stephanie Ruhle; and remarks by other key Dodd-Frank and financial reform participants, including  Former Citibank/Citigroup CEO John Reed, House Financial Services Committee Chair Maxine Waters, former FDIC Chair Sheila Bair and former Deputy Secretary Treasury/Fed Governor Sarah Bloom Raskin. Sen. Elizabeth Warren concluded the conference with her insights from decades of fighting for economic and financial justice and fairness for all Americans.
